Product Description
Mobil Antifreeze Extra is an extra high performance concentrated antifreeze formula
that needs to be diluted prior to be used.
Mobil Antifreeze Extra contains Glysantin® G48® by BASF. Mobil Antifreeze Extra
was developed to protect car, truck and bus engines of both ferrous and aluminium
construction against corrosion and frost damage. It contains a blend of inhibitors
designed to give a high degree of corrosion protection to engine components such
as radiators, cylinder blocks/heads and water pumps over a 3 years period.
Mobil Antifreeze Extra is free of nitrites, amines and phosphates.

Industry Standards
Glysantin G48 was developed to protect engines against corrosion, overheating and
frost damage. It gives a high degree of corrosion protection to engine components
such as radiators, cylinder blocks/heads, water pumps and heat exchangers, and avoids
deposits. Glysantin G48 fulfills the requirements of the following coolant standards: AS
2108-2004, ASTM D 3306, ASTM D 4985, SAE J1034, AFNOR NF R 15-601, ÖNORM
V 5123, CUNA NC 956-16, JIS K 2234:2006, SANS 1251:2005, China GB 29743-2013
and BS 6580:2010.

Instructions for use
1. Dilute with de-ionised water in accordance with the vehicle manufacturers
instructions.
2. Pour into vehicle cooling system.
3. Do not mix different types of Antifreezes. If in doubt about product suitability, refer
to vehicle handbook or http://www.mobil-ancillaries.com.
4. R emove spills from paintwork immediately.
Handling
• Minor spills should be soaked up with oil absorbent granules, sand or dirt. The spillage site should
then be washed with soapy water and dried.
• Wash off any spillage on paintwork immediately.
• Avoid galvanised containers for storage or dispensing as they will corrode and contaminate the product.
Miscibility
Mobil Antifreeze Extra Concentrate must be diluted with de-ionised water as recommended by vehicle manufacturer
(see dilution table). Tap water can be used when not excessively hard. Waste from mining, sea water, brackish water, brine,
industrial waste water must be avoided. Pour into vehicle cooling system as recommended by vehicle manufacturer.
